The Supporters' Club

The Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team Supporters' Club was launched in January 2007 and is for individuals, families and organisations with an interest in the mountains and our part in the provision of emergency cover. For a small annual donation we provide a personal service of regular up-dates on the state of the Team, limited items suitable for supporters to display and an avenue to allow individuals a stronger association with the Team.

For those charitably minded it is an excellent method of assisting in a thoroughly worthwhile cause at minimal inconvenience. To join the Club Contact the Coordinator or send the Application Form with the appropriate donation:

Individual members - £15, Family members £25, Life members £300

Supporting the Team

We are fortunate enough to have the regular support of many local businesses through donations, holding fundraising events or contributions to the running of the team. The following list contains some of our more recent regular supporters and is by no means exhaustive. In addition to these there are about 150 businesses across our area that hold one of our collection boxes in their stores providing an extremely important source of income to the team
